USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 980 MT

KANSAS CITY - Jun 24/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 29,580 MT, compared to 53,640 MT last year.

Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases down 24,200 MT from last year's 53,210 MT level.
