USDA Aug Tenders Reach 9,390 MT Pulses

KANSAS CITY - Jun 24/10 - STAT -- The latest USDA PL-480 tenders bring actual and potential purchases of pulses for shipment as food aid during the 2009-10 shipping season to 164,590 MT.

This represents a decrease of 76,010 MT from last season. The biggest change is in colored beans with shipments down 24,060 MT over the same period last year.
