French Pea Exports Improve in April
VANCOUVER - Jun 8/10 - SNS -- The pace of field pea exports from France continued to improve in April, according to data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Exports during the month totalled 17,035 metric tons (MT), up from the 15,925 MT shipped in March and up from the 15,585 MT of field peas exported the same month last year.
This lifted total shipments so far during the 2009-10 marketing year to 154,825 MT, down 26% from the 209,075 MT shipped the first nine months of the previous marketing year.
