India's MMTC Tenders to Sell Pulses

NEW DELHI - May 31/10 - SNS -- India's MMTC Limited will tender June 7 to sell 15,500 metric tons (MT) of imported pulses.

Bids must remain valid until June 14 and for a minimum of 250 MT. Bidders must provide a performance guarantee or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 5% of the bid's value. The smallest buyers have 10 days from the time their bid is accepted to pay for the balance of the contract, otherwise it will be cancelled and the EMD retained.

The tender covers: 4,000 NT of Toor Whole from Malawi/Mozambique in Mumbai; 2,000 MT Toor Whole Matwara in Mumbai; 1,500 MT Toor Whole Lemon from Myanmar in Mumbai; 500 MT of Australian origin Green Moong in Mumbai; 4,000 MT of Canadian red lentils in Kolkata; 2,000 MT of Moong Pediseva from Myanmar in Chennai; and 1,500 MT of Urad SQ from Myanmar in Chennai.
