Peas Continue to Soften

VANCOUVER - Apr 17/10 - SNS -- North American field pea markets were generally softer against relatively modest end user demand.

India's decision to only extend the period of time it will subsidize purchases by state trading companies for another six months to the end of September received a mixed reaction.

If the subsidy is not extended for another six months, those companies will feel more comfortable reentering field pea markets.
