Peas Unchanged to Easier

VANCOUVER - Apr 2/10 - SNS -- North American field pea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to easier against an improvement in grower selling interest in western Canada.

As expected, India officially extended duty free pulse imports for another year as well as its ban on exports of all types of pulses except kabuli chickpeas. The news had no impact on markets, hough it removes it as a potential issue in the minds of traders.

In western Canada, several farmers seem to be running out of patience with markets and were pushing to convert green peas into cash during the past week.
