Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 5,490 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 24/10 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 106,280 MT, compared to 144,690 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 17,790 MT at 12,710 MT versus 30,500 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 18,400 MT from last year's 42,970 MT.
