Easier Undertone in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Feb 20/10 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets retained their easier undertone during the past week.
White proso millet and confectionary sunflower seed markets in the United States were unchanged on the week.
However, oil-type sunflower values were lower even though soybean markets finished the week unchanged and canola was firmer. There was some optimism in markets against talk of substantial U.S. origin sunflower seed oil sales to the Middle East.
