Little Change in lentils

VANCOUVER - Feb 20/10 - SNS -- Lentil markets were little changed, though grower bids remained under pressure in western Canada for all classes.

Continued strength of the Canadian dollar was not helpful, as it reduces the amount of money available to share with growers from export sales.

The problem was most obvious in red lentils, which have experienced a significant slowdown in overall activity since experiencing record movement in the August through December period.
