Mixed Week for Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Feb 12/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets recorded a mixed performance during the past week, with canaryseed and millet fading while sunflower firmed.
Good price performance by outside markets was helpful to oil-type sunflower seed during the past week, helping them advance around 25 cents per 100 pounds (cwt).
White proso millet markets ended the week on a down note, following the recent drop in grower bids.
