USDA Buys 12,080 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Feb 4/10 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 12,080 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 020, the USDA is buying 5,610 MT of pinto beans packed in 50 kg bags for prepositioning at Jacintoport for eventual shipment as food aid.
