Weak Dollar Hurts Lentil Price

VANCOUVER - Jan 29/10 - SNS -- Weakness in the Canadian dollar allowed asking prices for Canadian lentils to drop during the week in an effort to attract fresh buying interest.

Markets in the United States received modest support from the latest round of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitations, with only a small quantity sought for March shipment.
