Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 10,870 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 25/10 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 88,290 MT, compared to 135,840 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 16,870 MT at 12,250 MT versus 29,120 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 17,710 MT from last year's 37,790 MT.
