Birdseeds Unchanged to Easier
VANCOUVER - Jan 22/10 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were unchanged to easier during the past week.
White proso millet seed markets in the United States eased, with processors and birdseed mixers well covered against short term needs.
Sunflower market pipelines are also full at the moment, limited demand. Interestingly, confectionary sunflower markets started to switch to a new crop pricing basis during the week, with processors offering significant premiums to spot for delivery next fall.
