USDA Buys 4,000 MT Beans
KANSAS CITY - Jan 22/10 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 4,000 metric tons (MT) of dry edible beans for prepositioning at Jacintoport for eventual shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 010B, the USDA bought beans packed in 50 kg bags. Purchases are for shipment by truck only from interior plants or plants located at port between February 1 and 15
