South Africa Seeds Less BeansVANCOUVER - Jan 21/10 - SNS -- Dry edible bean seedings in South Africa dropped below seeding intentions, according go the latest crop report from the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS). Preliminary seeded area estimates peg land in beans at 41,000 hectares, down from an intended 44,000 and last year's actual 43,800. The most important dry edible bean producing area is Vrystaat/Free State, where seeded area dropped from 18,000 hectares to 14,500.
