USDA Apr Tenders Reach 6,650 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Feb 19/09 - STAT -- The latest USDA PL-480 tenders bring actual and potential purchases of pulses for shipment as food aid during the Sep-Apr shipping season to 186,780 MT.
This represents an increase of 40,860 MT over last season. The biggest change is in colored beans with shipments up 29,070 MT over the same period last year.
