Few Changes in Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Feb 8/09 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were mostly unchanged in uneven trade during the past week.
The U.S. grower index finished the week unchanged at 1049, versus 1075 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 81.8%, unchanged from last week and compared to 80.9% at this time last year.
The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1147, unchanged from the previous week and compared to 1189 at this time last year.
