France's Monthly Pea Exports Falter
VANCOUVER - Dec 9/08 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France sank in October, narrowing the increase in total export activity so far in 2008-09 from a third more than last season to 26% more.
Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 20,585 metric tons (MT) of peas in October, down from 48,965 MT in September and 10% more than 18,670 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year.
