Modest Rise in South African Bean EstimateVANCOUVER - Mar 27/08 - SNS -- Pulse production levels in South Africa should end up higher than initially expected if a forecast improvement in summer yields holds trues, according to the latest crop production estimates from the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS). SAGIS will not take a second look at winter lupin output until the end of April. It therefore left production unchanged at 13,300 MT from 14,000 hectares, though output in down from last season.
