Modest Pace For French Pea ExportsVANCOUVER - Mar 13/08 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France maintained their slow pace during January, rising almost 10,000 metric tons (MT) from month earlier levels but sinking 32.7% below the volume exported last year. Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 17,570 MT of peas in January, up from 7,670 MT in December and down from the 26,115 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year.
