Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 31/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 704,669 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 408,560 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 43,011 MT of durum wheat; 71,220 MT of barley; 140,375 MT of canola; 4,912 MT of flaxseed; 8,961 MT of peas; and 27,630 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
