Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 27/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 759,240 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 484,177 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 16,355 MT of durum wheat; 66,887 MT of barley; 172,230 MT of canola; 4,767 MT of flaxseed; 3,296 MT of peas; and 11,528 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
