Canada's Weekly Exports 238,200 MTWINNIPEG - May 24/02 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 16,703,000 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 3,813,000 MT from the 20,516,000 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending May 19. Grower deliveries during the week included 106,600 MT wheat; 51,600 MT durum; 3,900 MT oats; 28,600 MT barley; 100 MT rye; 12,000 MT flax; 40,700 MT canola; and no corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 238,200 MT . On the grain side this included including 147,100 MT wheat; 44,000 MT durum; 2,500 MT oats; 2,400 MT barley; no rye; and no corn.
