VANCOUVER -- May 22/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 648,494 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.
The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 422,091 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 16,407 MT of durum wheat; 71,500 MT of barley; 127,500 MT of canola; 2,900 MT of flaxseed; 3,296 MT of peas; and 4,800 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
