Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 21/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 637,489 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 364,583 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 30,375 MT of durum wheat; 71,500 MT of barley; 152,806 MT of canola; 2,900 MT of flaxseed; 3,296 MT of peas; and 12,029 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
