Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 16/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 574,955 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 324,961 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 30,000 MT of durum wheat; 46,500 MT of barley; 153,750 MT of canola; 2,900 MT of flaxseed; 4,844 MT of peas; and 12,000 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
