Weekly Export Inspections Total 66,466 BushelsWASHINGTON - May 13/02 - STAT -- Exports inspections of major grains and oilseeds at U.S. ports totalled 66,466 bushels during the week ending May 09, according to data compiled by the USDA. This lifted season today export clearances to 3,253,553 bushels so far during the current marketing campaign, down 60,149 bushels from the 3,313,702 shipped during the same period last season. Last week's volume leader was corn with 36,659 bushels shipped, followed by wheat with 18,019 bushels cleared. This lifted season to date shipments for corn to 1,235,985 bushels, compared to 1,263,629 last season; while wheat clearances now total 930,761 bushels, versus 994,607 last year.
