Canada's Weekly Exports 403,700 MTWINNIPEG - May 10/02 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 16,072,500 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 3,275,600 MT from the 19,348,100 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending May 5. Grower deliveries during the week included 159,200 MT wheat; 60,500 MT durum; 10,300 MT oats; 64,000 MT barley; 400 MT rye; 6,700 MT flax; 77,100 MT canola; and 300 MT corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 403,700 MT . On the grain side this included including 222,900 MT wheat; 81,200 MT durum; 3,800 MT oats; 9,400 MT barley; no rye; and 3,200 MT corn.
