Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 8/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 645,553 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 452,857 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 48,640 MT of durum wheat; 53,355 MT of barley; 47,040 MT of canola; 5,000 MT of peas; and 38,661 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
