Canada's Weekly Exports 299,000 MTWINNIPEG - May 3/02 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 15,504,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 3,133,500 MT from the 18,638,300 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending April 28. Grower deliveries during the week included 236,700 MT wheat; 80,600 MT durum; 12,100 MT oats; 58,200 MT barley; 500 MT rye; 6,800 MT flax; 108,200 MT canola; and 6,200 MT corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 299,000 MT . On the grain side this included including 176,300 MT wheat; 28,300 MT durum; 7,900 MT oats; 24,500 MT barley; 300 MT rye; and 3,400 MT corn.
