Vancouver Bulk Vessel Summary

VANCOUVER -- May 1/02 -- STAT -- Exporters have nominated vessels to load a total of 689,776 metric tons (MT) of grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products at the Port of Vancouver in the coming weeks.

The latest data from the Canadian Ports Clearance Association reveals they intend to ship 415,885 MT of wheat from licensed terminals at the port. Exporters have also nominated vessels to lift: 32,940 MT of durum wheat; 56,466 MT of barley; 144,363 MT of canola; 4,625 MT of peas; 4,625 MT of mustard seed; and 32,880 MT of other bulk agricultural commodities.
