Lentil Exports From Turkey Start With Easy Tendency

PANAMA - Mar 17/25 - SNS -- Export shipments of lentils for Turkey were slightly lower, falling relative to the previous month in January, recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) shows.

Exports for the opening month of the calendar year totalled 54,601 metric tons (MT), down 7% from 58,496 MT the previous month. The data showed shipments is down 1% from the 55,385 MT recorded during the same month last year.

Iraq was the most important importer, receiving 17,062 MT. Sudan was the second most important importer taking 8,427 MT, followed by Iran at 2,728 MT.
