Lentils Not Bothered By Intentions
PANAMA - Mar 14/25 - SNS -- Global lentil markets finished the week's trading with a somewhat easier undertone.
Markets were not overly surprised by Canada's seeding intentions report. Though based on a survey in December and January, many believed conditions had not changed enough to fundamentally alter grower attitudes.
Statistics Canada said land would slip from 4.21 to 4.17 million acres if farmers stick with their ideas, just above the previous five year average of 4.13 million acres.
