Australia's Lentils Exports Manage Soft Performance
PANAMA - Mar 6/25 - SNS -- Movement of lentilss from Australia fell compared to the previous month in January, official trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
The latest statistics showed shipments for the month totalled 201,554 metric tons (MT), down 20% from 250,655 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, movement are up 16% from 429,325 MT.
India was the most important buyer, receiving 99,806 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important buyer receiving 60,749 MT, followed by Sri Lanka at 21,847 MT.
