Firm Footing In Lentils
PANAMA - Nov 22/24 - SNS -- Export markets for red and green lentils maintained their firm footing during the past week, with exporters holding the line on asking prices.
Movement remain relatively strong, with exporters continuing to accumulate stocks to meet outstanding shipping commitments, supporting both grower and inter dealer markets.
This is evident in Australia. Though this year's harvest is underway, some exporters have boosted prices offered farmers in an effort to attract quick delivery of new crop product.
