Field Pea Imports By China Reveal Strong Oucome
PANAMA - Aug 8/24 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year posted a stronger performance, with field pea imports by China were up significantly, rising compared to the previous month in June, according to available data from General Customs Administration of China.
Total imports during the month reached 93,403 metric tons (MT), up 23% from the previous month's total of 76,238. So far imports have reached 657,815 MT, down from 845,949 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest movement data showed Russia was top export origin, supplying 42,299 MT. Canada was the second most important export origin supplying 38,353 MT, followed by Australia at 5,975 MT.
