Red Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/24 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2023-24 marketing year with prices falling 7% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$31.48 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $34.02 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $34.19 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $29.80 per cwt in March.
