Bulgaria's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Extend Soft Tone
PANAMA - Sep 16/23 - SNS -- Bulgaria's imports of oil-type sunflowers in July fell sharply versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 854 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 84% from the 5,494 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 206,198 MT, compared to 710,571 in the same period the last calendar year.
Moldova was the most important export origin for the month, shipping 673 MT. Serbia was the second most important supplier supplying 137 MT, followed by Turkey at 44 MT.
