Field Pea Imports By Italy Open On Soft Note
PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year with a weaker tendency, with field pea imports by Italy fell compared to the previous month in March, according to recent data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 5,898 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 47% from the 11,180 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 25,006 MT, versus 52,552 during the previous calendar year.
For the month, Russia was the top supplier, supplying 3,592 MT. Canada was the second most important supplier selling 2,214 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 48 MT.
