Bulgaria's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Start On Strong Note
PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- Imports of oil-type sunflowers for Bulgaria improved relative to the previous month in March, trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports reached 45,379 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 3% from the 44,215 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 147,365 MT, versus 134,033 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Ukraine was the biggest exporter for the month, shipping 41,579 MT. Moldova was the second most important origin shipping 3,716 MT, followed by Turkey at 84 MT.
