Spain's Confection Sunflower Imports Open With Firm Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/23 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Spain were up significantly, rising versus the previous month in January, official trade data from Eurostat shows.
Imports for the opening month of the calendar year totalled 22,835 metric tons (MT), up 50% from 15,189 MT the previous month. The statistics revealed imports is up 28% from the 17,856 MT recorded for the same month last year.
Bulgaria was the largest supplier during the month, supplying 10,432 MT. France was the second most important supplier selling 8,475 MT, followed by China at 2,822 MT.
