PANAMA - Mar 20/23 - SNS -- Romania's export shipments of oil-type sunflowers during January shrank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Export sales during the first month of the calendar year totalled 23,353 metric tons (MT), down 85% from 157,824 MT the previous month. The data showed export sales was down 76% from the 99,093 MT recorded for the same month last year.
Recent movement statistics showed Turkey was largest consumer, taking 23,350 MT in the month. United Kingdom was the second most important importer receiving 3 MT, followed by at 0 MT.
