Australia's Lentils Exports Manage Easy Opening
PANAMA - Mar 7/23 - SNS -- Opened the current marketing year amanageda weaker month, with lentils movement for Australia were slightly lower, falling compared to the previous month in January, judging from statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Movement for the opening month of the marketing year totalled 149,277 metric tons (MT), down 9% from 163,196 MT the previous month. The statistics revealed shipments is up 46% from the 231,841 MT reported during the same month last year.
Other was the biggest buyer, buying 35,227 MT. India was the second most important buyer taking 32,315 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 28,225 MT.
