Field Pea Exports From France Continue Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Feb 21/23 - SNS -- France's export shipments of field peas in December posted massive declines, sinking versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Movement during the month totalled 517 metric tons (MT), down from 12,334 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 176,456, down 23% last year.
Recent movement data revealed Switzerland was most important importer, taking 490 MT in the month. Kuwait was the second most important destination buying 25 MT, followed by Zimbabwe at 2 MT.
