Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Post Easy Month
PANAMA - Feb 21/23 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Spain posted significant declines, slumping relative to the previous month in December, data from Eurostat reports.
Imports reached 15,189 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 47% from the 28,550 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 335,494 MT, compared to 279,554 during the last calendar year.
France was the largest export origin for the month, selling 11,839 MT. China was the second most important exporter supplying 1,887 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 536 MT.
