Canada's Canaryseed Exports Sustain Solid Performance
PANAMA - Feb 7/23 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year are maintaining a stronger trend, with canaryseed movement for Canada made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month in December, according to official trade data from Statistics Canada.
Exports totalled 19,047 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 2% from the 18,765 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 84,903 MT, compared to 68,196 during the previous marketing year.
Mexico was the most important destination during the month, buying 6,533 MT. Belgium was the second most important destination taking 3,348 MT, followed by Spain at 1,238 MT.
