Mustard Values Weakening

PANAMA - Feb 3/23 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets have weakened considerable since the start of the 2023 calendar year in both new crop and spot shipping positions.

Markets believe processors and end users are well covered over the medium term, with result companies have reduced grower bids to help slow selling interest among farmers.

Since the start of the year, the upper ranged of spot bids in western Canada have declined 3% for yellow mustard, 4% for oriental and 6% for brown.
