Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Record Improved Result
PANAMA - Jan 30/23 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year revealed a impeoved performance, with sunflower seed imports for Turkey jumped compared to the previous month in November, according to statistics from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports reached 77,257 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 39% from the 55,586 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 686,387 MT, versus 695,241 during the last calendar year.
Current movement statistics reported Ukraine was largest shipper, supplying 66,612 MT in the month. Other was the second most important origin selling 8,473 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 1,305 MT.
