Field Pea Imports By Spain Reveal Improved Oucome
PANAMA - Jan 17/23 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain rocketed versus the previous month in November, the latest data from Eurostat reports.
Imports reached 5,988 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 565% from the 900 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 64,674 MT, versus 119,132 during the previous calendar year.
Latvia was the most important export origin, supplying 3,617 MT. Poland was the second most important export origin shipping 1,396 MT, followed by France at 842 MT.
